We all are super conscious about our food habits, hygiene and types of food at home. Whether it’s oil or vegetables, we choose and pick the best ones. 

But when it comes to eating out at restaurants we hardly know the hygiene level of hotel’s kitchen. Some of the obvious questions that pops up in our mind are.. How the food is been prepared in restaurant ? Are they overcooking or using stale food again and again , whether they are cleaning the counter and dishes properly or not , are they reusing the same oil for frying. 

As per FSSAI guidelines, for those who use more than 50 litres of oil per day for frying should not reuse oil more than thrice for frying. 

So, what’s the solution??

To increase transparency related to our food intake at restaurants the FOOD TRANSPARENCY or GLASS WALL concept can come to rescue.

This concept can build up trust between customers and owners of restaurant related to the food they serve. Everyone loves hygiene and sanitation, and when the customers could see everything being cooked in front of their eyes it would make them double sure about the quality of food they are going to eat.

Either a CCTV camera can be used whose display can be put up in the dining area so as the customers can see their food being cooked or A Glass wall can be placed between kitchen and dining area instead of a concrete wall to maintain the transparency.

It’s a human right to get hygienic and quality food so why not such intiatives can be put up in real time??
