The Eastern Ghats are a discontinuous range of mountains on the eastern coast of the Indian peninsula covering an area of 75,000 Km^2

It has a stretch of around 1750 km. The highest peak of Eastern Ghats- Jindhagada peak/Arma Konda with a height of 1690 meters

Eastern ghats almost run parallel to the eastern coast spanning 5 Indian states – Odisha, Andra Pradesh, Telangana, Karnataka, and Tamil Nadu. Western and Eastern Ghats meet at Nilgiri hills in Tamil Nadu.
