Aravalli ranges are among the oldest old fold mountains of the world present in India which emerged during Proterozoic era that is around 350 million years ago from now and they are older than mighty Himalayas.

They have a stretch of around 800 km

The highest peak of the Aravalli range is Guru Shikhar – 1722 km in Mount Abu(Rajasthan)

Aravalli Range encompasses 3 states and one Union Territory namely Gujarat, Haryana, Rajasthan, and Delhi.
